Random thoughts for the New Year and some food porn...

of course, you realize that you're really celebrating my birthday.  Right?

Yep, like it or not, at 13 minutes to midnight I will be a really, really old 68 - which is definitely better than the alternative.

My reward?  I get to work today.  My loyal following at the grocery store where I work will get to eat buckets of hot wings lovingly prepared by moi.  

However, come January 1st I will be having a feast fit for a queen.

Afternoon nibbles:

Homemade clam dip with Granny Goose dip chips, celery, green onions, radishes, and cherry peppers.

Followed by King Crab legs dipped in garlic and lemon infused ghee
