We have some green plastic lawn chairs that were so oxidized that we planned on throwing them away. Since they were nice chairs, I did a little searching on the internet to see if there was something I could do to fix them up (besides paint them.)
Lo and behold - WD-40 to the rescue.
After cleaning them I coated them with WD-40, and while they're not perfect, they now look good enough to keep.
