For many years, I was on the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) teaching team. We spent a year going through the entire Catechism of the Catholic Church to prepare people who were considering entering the Church. Part of our program was to explain the differences between Catholicism and other religions. Because the southern area of Idaho has quite a few Mormons, we fielded many, many questions about Mormonism.
After several hours of explanations, I always concluded by saying, "All that being said about Mormons, I'll take a good Mormon over a crappy Catholic anytime." I still feel that way...
