I met Donna when I was working at Creative Drum Shop in Phoenix, AZ.  Many of the rock shows don't travel with their own equipment because it is often cheaper to rent sound boards, drums, etc at each venue.  Creative Drum supplied the drums for her show.  My job was to deliver about a hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment to her show and guard it with my life. That naturally meant I had back stage passes and a front row seat.  She put on a heck of a show, the equipment was well treated, and she couldn't have been any nicer to deal with.  I'm been a fan ever since.
