September 11, 2011

Ten years ago today, nearly 3,000 people woke up to what would be their last day on earth.  These souls went about their daily tasks, prepared for work, perhaps picked up a bagel and coffee, and headed for the office.  Some of them climbed aboard airplanes for business trips or to visit families.  Not one of these people knew it would be the last time they would indulge in any of these activities.

None of them knew the horror the coming day would bring, or the fate that awaited them at the hands of murderous practitioners of the "religion of peace." Did they tell their spouse, "I love you" before leaving home?  Did some have time to say a short prayer? We can only hope.

Since then, we have witnessed the incremental but steady infiltration of Muslims in our country, as well as in other developed nations.  While our government keeps feeding us pablum about who these people are, the Muslims demand special rights and accommodations.    We have sacrificed our liberties at airports in the mistaken notion that frisking  90-year old women in wheelchairs and checking the diapers of babies will keep us safe.  Entire Muslim neighborhoods in Minneapolis, Dearborn, and Flint, have become "no go zones."  And in the ultimate affrontery, the Muslims, in some weird multi-culti politically correct nonsense,  are being allowed to build a mosque mere feet from the site of the twin towers in New York while, ten years later,  a Greek Orthodox Church is still trying to rebuild their church.

On the anniversary of this act of war against our nation, say a prayer for the people that perished, for their wives, husbands, and children who were left behind to make sense of what is senseless.  Fly the flag of the United States of America and pray also for our nation, that she survive the onslaught of the evils of Socialism.

Well said, Adrienne. On that awful day, Muslims commit mass murder of Americans. Ten years later our leaders are kissing Muslim butt and doing everything they can to accommodate and appease them. It is a sick world we live in.

Thank Adrienne for the link, but most of all for being a Heaven sent friend. Outstanding roundup.

Wonderful post, Adrienne. We would all do well to take heed.

This is a WONDERFUL roundup.
I hope we survive all the horrors of what the PC brigade, and their cohorts are doing to us.
Appeasing these demons doesn't help, it makes them WORSE and bolder. Now, with a BFF in the WH, I fear we're gonna have happen like it is in UK.

God Bless You Adrienne, for all you do.

Adrienne, thank for the link. What a wonderful list of 9/11 remembrances, along with your very blunt assessment of how the sacrifices continue on and on.

Just think: what if we had gone in and fought the short intense war we were well capable of fighting. I'm not sure anymore Muslims would have died than have died over the past ten years. Certainly, not nearly as many Americans would have died. Al-Qaeda and the Taliban would be gone. If they threaten to come back, we do it again. It would have been a new dawn for Muslims in those countries and we wouldn't be nearly as threatened.

Thank you for linking, Adrienne. I appreciate it.

I didn't make many blog rounds on 9/11/11. Feeling too somber.

Here we are, 10 years later, and the dhimmitude is more prevalent than ever.

Meanwhile, the Arab Spring is going to bring about world war, IMO.
