I guess Obummer is going to tell us all why we need to give the Muslims billions of dollars. Since we've hit our debt limit I guess we're going to borrow money to give away. Makes lots of sense.
Meatime a whole bunch of churches are going to read the Qur'an because it's not good to demonize people who chop off heads for sport. Rumor has it that after the readings everyone will stand in a circle, join hands, and sing Kumbaya.

And if that isn't enough, the FDA is calling for a ban on potatoes. Being from Idaho (even though the dirty little secret is Washington state actually grows more potatoes), it strikes close to the heart.
In response to all this bad news I'm headed out to bait pocket gopher tunnels.
When I finish doing that I will fire up one of my tank sprayers with 2-4-D and kill weeds.
To be followed by a tank full of Malathion spreading it's bug killing awesomeness on my trees and shrubs.
Then I'm headed off to Lowe's to buy a little electric weed whacker to use in the area we call the back yard. Hubby can keep his hard-to-start gas powered behemoth for the other 4 3/4 acres.
I appreciate all the fine comments about Santorum. It gives me lots to think about since I hold everyone who commented in high esteem. So far I'm not leaning toward Santorum.

The killing instinct is kinda catchy.
Gophers, weeds and money for muslims...No use for any.
That gopher scared the heck out of me. It looks like some kind of weird little ape (I looked at the picture before I read). Cover up its eye and you'll see what I mean.
At least you have an outlet for your pent-up frustrations. I now live in an apartment building so I have to settle for can of Raid and go around hunting flies. Not the same.
I was just looking outside today and plan a trip to Lowe's to pick up some round-up to kill the weeds that are growing between the bricks on my patio. I hate that job because it's a big patio and winds around the side of the house...takes a lot of round-up.
Regarding the potatoes, I'm so sick of Michelle sticking her fat...er, nose, in the business of what restaurants can serve to eat. I thought this was a free country and it seems like they are pushing the boundaries of freedoms in this country. I happen to like potatoes....WHITE ONES. Dang racist Obama's!!!!!
I don't see any reason why we should give any Moslem country a single penny.
Terry - I know
Randy - all those things are about the same.
Kalona - I LOATHE those little bast*rds. Over the past few years I've become a pocket gopher expert. They are phenomenally destructive.
CoF - Raid and flies are fun. Up close and personal with a swatter is better.
When I feel the urge I hit the back deck and swat yellow jackets. Extra points for getting one in mid-flight.
Nunly - I buy my R-up and 2,4-D by the two gallon size (concentrate)
Last year I missed the sale at our local farm store and the price on the two gallon R-up type product was about $175.00. I did my very best whining act and the guy gave it to me for $75.00 just to get me out of the store. I do try to have it last me two years, though.
I'm going to the store and grab a couple of bakers for dinner. heh
Bob - I wouldn't give those creeps one thin dime.
A .22 rifle is great for gophers. Keeps you in practice. Just sayin'
I notice that Iowa isn't on that list of places having churches reading "selected passages" of the quran.
They are nearly finished building a new "Islamic Center" about a half mile from my house. Interesting.
Blue - if these were regular gophers I'd be out with the .22 in a heart beat. However, pocket gophers are very small, live one to a tunnel system (their actual burrow is about 6 feet down), and seldom pop up above ground - and then only at night. A whole different animal, as they say...
Washington State not only grows more potatoes than Idaho, our potatoes are of manifestly superior quality. The Idaho potato is in fact a pathetic thing, with a higher starch content, lower fiber content, and lower nutrient profile to the Washington State potato. Why anyone would ever buy an Idaho potato is beyond me. Yuck. Give me a robust, nutrient-dense, fiber-rich Washington potato!
Mark - while Washington potatoes may be better - the folks in Idaho get to eat them off of clean plates. heh
Very witty!
