Before heading outside to enjoy the sunshine - the first in many weeks of rain, allow me to direct you to the wonderful article posted by Mind Numbed Robot where he makes it quite clear that this upcoming election is about American versus un-American.
Defining American
Yes. For some reason, it seems we need to.
The coming 2012 election should not be framed in ideology of Right versus Left, Republican vs. Democrat or Libertarian/Conservative vs. Liberal.
The main issue of this election is whether we the people of this country choose to enslave our neighbors using the machinery of mob rule democracy or reclaim our lost liberties and return to the original intent of our Constitutional Republic. That is the issue. read the rest and ponder what he has said.

Thanks Adrienne. I like your flag.
will check it out pronto girl..Hope ya had a fab weekend!:)
That is a very good point indeed! It seems to me that all I am hearing from the "left" is complaints about our country and how they want to change it. I do believe our democracy is at stake with this next election.
2012 will indeed be a defining moment in U.S. History.
Thanks for sharing this Adrienne. I think I've found a new blog I need to follow.
America will be on the line in the 2012 elections. "United we stand, devided we fall".
America is a melting pot of cultures who's founding fathers were immigrants. I don't feel their is a clear definition of being American other than honoring this country as your own and obeying the law of the land.
Of course the immigrants from past history had a purpose, to build and prosper. Not like the ones from today, who are here to seek refuge just to make money here or for political reasons.
