U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo "Meet and Greet" on Lake Coeur d' Alene

Heading off to beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene for a "meet and greet" with Senator Mike Crapo (R-ID)  this evening.  Dinner out after the cruise to celebrate hubby's birthday.

I've never been to such an event.  Should be interesting and at least I'll know the majority of people there will be of like-mind as moi.

Downtown Coeur d' Alene and the north end of 25 mile long Lake Coeur d' Alene...

One of the boats with Coeur d' Alene resort and the world's longest boardwalk in the background...

Dear Adrienne, happy birthday to your hubby, and best wishes for a fun party! // The pictures of the lake are very pretty, :-) almost as nice as northern Minnesota. ;-)

Randy - I will...thanks

Bob - I have two words for you - no mosquitoes!

The lakes around here are beautiful as are the lakes in Minnesota. We both like the "bumps in the ground" and the "big sky" thing going on here rather than the flat of Minnesota.

Happy birthday to the Duke of Idaho

Adrienne, "no mosquitoes" beats "10000 lakes" any day! :-)

The third message from heaven...

If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Many a time over the last 18 years my husband has made mention that Coeur d'Alene would be a lovely place to retire. P'raps. It is tied with a cabin in Minnesota.
