It's time to chill

It's only Tuesday and the blogosphere is hysterically posting like the end of the world is imminent.  It's actually kind of amusing.  I have sites that I generally visit with close to a hundred posts since last evening.  Guess what?  No one is reading them because most folks don't have the time. Throwing out more words is not necessarily going to solve more problems.

The primaries are over and the time to focus on the November elections is now.  Part of that focus is setting aside time for prayer and reflection. It is so hard for us to understand many of the things going on because we refuse to "name the enemy."  We are under heavy assault by the forces of evil and the number one solution is prayer.

That being said - here's a bit of fluff for your day...

A hearty H/T to my blogger buddy, Mighty Mom, for this great video.  She asked me if I thought it was time for another great dance movie.  You bethcha!!

Mark - Ok - I had to look that up. Great word!

I hate it when the blogs get in a hyper-posting mode. It's a distraction and a time-waster.

Unless there is an earth shattering alert or something, I think more that 2 or 3 posts a day is over doing it.
That's why Drudge and the rest were invented.....we can go there.

It is fun though to see the vids and read about obummer's little surprise yesterday ;-)

Bunni - great minds! When I see 80 or 90 posts on a site I just delete them all from my reader.

You don't see the great thinkers like Victor Davis Hanson ore Dr. Zero doing that.

...and sometimes I do the very same thing! My bad!

I used to put out about 3-4 posts a night. That was while working the graveyard shift as a building engineer where the most important task was to be present "in case something happened".

Since the only other folk there were the security guards (who took turns napping in the lounge) chances were slim anything would break. Blogging and opining on the day's events were necessary to stay semi-sane.

About those security guards, it wasn't that bad they would catch a few winks. The only way to enter that building was by magnetic key card. Once you were inside you needed ANOTHER card for really secure areas.

Great job, too bad it didn't pay more or I'd still be there.
