My daughter has been having a lot of problems with insomnia, actually, it's something that she has always struggled with. Anyway, last week a friend of hers told her to go to the health food store and buy some Melatonin. She took it 30 minutes before bedtime and said she slept very sound, for the first time in months. She said she wasn't the least bit drowsy the next morning and felt very refreshed for the first time in well over a year. Or course, you should check with your doctor because I'm sure mixing that with other medications may be dangerous.
I just love that kitty!! Maybe try opening the window awhile before you sleep? Sometimes in winter we don't get enough o2 circulating--can't hurt, at least.

Mary Ellen - I tried melatonin years ago and it didn't help but it may now. Tonight I'm going to take some Calms Forte which works quite well for me.
Yesterday I was so tired I went to bed a 6pm which meant I woke up at 12:30am and I've been up ever since. Arrrrrrrrrgh!
Got stress?
I find that praying the Rosary while laying in bed helps. Last night I didn't even make it through the first mystery.
