If the Republicans are smart, they'll call Obama on his bluff and let the Democrats pass it on their own. Then they own the bill...and it will probably end up having to be over-turned by the Supreme Court because reconciliation in this cas IS an illegal manuever. From what I understand, you cannot pass a mandated bill of that size through reconciliation.
In the end...it will be a very bad blunder, especially considering that the majority of Americans don't want this bill passed!
