Lather, Rinse, and Repeat. Obama's "Plan"

Not sure how I missed this fine article yesterday.  The Wall Street Journal has a decent vetting of Obama's health care plan.  One of the most important features of his "plan" is price controls.  This sort of micro-managing of private industry never works - at least for the industry being micro-managed.  But it will do exactly what Obama intends it to do, which is put private insurance companies out of business and force the American people into government-run insurance.
"The President's Proposal," as the 11-page White House document is headlined, is in one sense a notable achievement: It manages to take the worst of both the House and Senate bills and combine them into something more destructive. It includes more taxes, more subsidies and even less cost control than the Senate bill. And it purports to fix the special-interest favors in the Senate bill not by eliminating them—but by expanding them to everyone. read the rest at Wall Street Journal

Great observation! In my opinion, Obama is so out of touch with what Americans want and he is more interested in getting a bill passed...any bill, so that he may try to take credit for "saving" Americans. It's kind of like all those jobs he "saved"...a lot of meaningless hot air.

He really has no clue as to how this country works or what is in the Constitution. If he did, he wouldn't be using the threat of reconciliation because it's against the law! Not that the Dems won't do it anyway because they just think laws are for suckers. You only have to look at the tax evading Treasury Secretary to see that!
