Health Care Summit - Move Along - Nothing to See Here!

I managed to make it through every minute of this ridiculous waste of time - and now I have a raging headache.  The only thing that saved my sanity was following the Hot Air open thread while the sound was running on the Fox streaming video.

The highlights:

1.  John McCain saying he wasn't through when Obama tried to cut him off.  
2. John Boehner telling him that the entire bill needed to be scrapped and they needed to start over
3. Anything that came out of Eric Cantor's mouth.
4. Watching Obama's facial expressions and his desperate attempts to stay awake after lunch.
5. Listening to the "great communicator" stumble, stutter, and not make sense about 95% of the time

The lowlights:

1. The endless sob stories told by the Dems with first prize going to Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) claiming a constituent wore her dead sister’s teeth. 

Conclusion?

The president and his democratic minions looked like idiots and the republicans came across as well prepared and ready to kick some rear patootie.  The repubs  reminded me of my barely 6 lb cat chasing 10 lb cats off our property.
