In his speech the President directly responded to concerns I’ve raised about unelected bureaucrats being given power to make decisions affecting life or death health care matters. He called these concerns “bogus,” “irresponsible,” and “a lie” -- so much for civility. Perhaps Americans who support Obama's over-reaching health care plan would like to wait in over-crowded Canadian emergency rooms and deal with the lack of MRIS or caring health professionals. As someone who has experienced the Canadian health-care system, it's nothing to emulate.
