and...
Guess what instrument Smitty plays.....a contestRobert Stacy McCain is a lucky man, indeed!
In an earlier post I bemoaned the fact that I didn't have a Smitty. Stacy McCain not only has a beautiful wife, who sees to his corporal needs, but he has Smitty.
Smitty has a brother, who when not attending to his business, lives not to terribly far from me. But, alas and alack, his brother doesn't blog and would probably find the Catholic Church too controlling.
How do I know these things? Last week I sent a quick and to the point email to this paragon of linky-love by the name of Smitty. And guess what? I received an almost immediate response.
Just think about this - a busy person on a blog that attracts millions, took the time to answer an email from moi, a small nit on the hair follicle of the blogosphere.
I call that classy!
Something tells me that if I emailed Stacy I just may receive an answer also. To be fair, I haven't tried because, well after all, he is Robert Stacy McCain. But real soon I'm going to email him because I'd really like to interview him for my blog and maybe, just maybe he'll say yes.
The Contest
Guess what musical instrument Smitty plays and win (my husband just suggested one of our cats), no, not the cat buuuuuuuut, drumroll please - your choice of either five double fans of the daylily Gentle Shepherd from my nursery (US readers only), or a copy of the e-workbook "31 Days to Build a Better Blog" by Darren Rouse of ProBlogger.
Just put your answer in the com-box which has comment moderation enabled. Comments will not be published so as to not sway your answer or otherwise dissuade you from entering.
Contest not open to Smitty, Stacy McCain or friends, family, co-workers, or pets of aforementioned entities. Contest winners will be announced on Friday.
A Whiff of Desperation
As Obama's approval ratings continue to slip, and it becomes increasingly obvious that our Commander-n-Thief has no idea what he's doing with the economy, even BHO's friends at WaPo are starting to express concern. Apparently, criticism regarding Obama's stimulus plan is gaining quite a bit of traction. And it's not just the "racist" tea party crowd doing the complaining anymore.Read the rest at RightKilk
