Statements made about Tiller's death: Jean over at Catholic Fire has a comprehensive list of statements from pro-life groups concerning the death of Dr. Tiller
Two wrongs certainly don't make a right -- and the killing of Dr. Tiller is a crime and abominable action. One does not further the cause of human life by taking life. On top of that, lawless violence only breeds anarchy and a decreasing respect for human life and personal security.
I am not so sure that Dr. Tiller was killed by a Anti-Abortionist Radical.
Until the motive is disclosed, we shouldn't assume it was a 'Pro-Lifer' who twisted justice murdered the doctor.
It could have been many posible motives. Here's two:
1. Bad business practices outside of his industry. People get 'wacked' if they do business with criminals. Maybe Tiller had an outside business that he shouldn't have been in.
2. Possibly a 'patient's' significant other got murderous when they found out about the 'abortion'. Don't underestimate abusers wrath. And/or Someone who isn't involved with the Pro-life movement, but has made this 'private healthcare descision' of a loved one "Personal". Anger and Grief overtook their conscience.
I am afraid that if a motive other than a wacko-vigilante "Anti-abortionist" is found, it won't be Broadcast. So everyone sitting on the fence of Pro-life support will never know the whole story.
I feel very sorry for the church congregation, Tiller's wife and family and Tiller himself. (Someone robbed him not only of Life but the ability to have a conversion.)

Just couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the news on my Yahoo News page. Just couldn't believe it.
Murder + murder = evil, sin, and wrong.
Prayers for all involved in this tonight.

Now I just look like a schmuck:

It appears it really was an act of violence directed at an Abortionist/Abortion Provider. (Not some other explaination.)
