Well, ok - maybe Erica is not exactly dancing on top of that 7 foot pole, but I think she looks pretty sexy in her Cat Bib...
and it did get your attention!!

poor cat!
Honestly, at first whe i read about the cat bib i thought it was a joke post, but then i clicked through the links you provided and i must say that this is an absolutely brilliant idea!
Well done to you also for planting so many trees, not only are they beautiful and great for attracting wildlife into the garden but they are really helping the environment too.
Great post!
We couldn't put a cat bib on my Redd. He thinks that hunting and running the neighborhood are his missions in life. AS a barn cat it's actually his job to keep critters out of the barn, including nest birds.
MightyMom - Erica actually likes her cat bib. She thinks it's her "play clothes" and sits still as a little statue when I put her collar on.
When she comes in it's the same. She sits quietly while I take it off.
Deb - I know - it sounds like a joke and I wouldn't have believed it worked without seeing it in action. Now my goal is to find some "mouse pad" fabric and make my own. They do get lost sometimes.
Ashley - Erica can still catch mice and stuff but when it comes to the birds we don't play the "circle of life game" here. Of course, we don't have them nesting in our barn, either. heh
I keep coming back to this - what a view!
