Answers to questions:

Mighty Mom - new adoptees on the way and the tarragon went in the compost pile. Trust me there is tons left behind. I taught ballroom dancing for close to 10 drug and alcohol filled years. It was fun ;-) If you plant a bed with nothing but bulbs, when they are through blooming in the spring you will have a big empty bed. Bulbs have to be under-planted or interspersed in a bed.

Mark - yes indeedy, I actually did some work. Afterwards I had to lie down with a cold cloth on my forehead.

Glad to hear you got some work done!

As for the ballroom dancing, I think the only way I could do ballroom dancing is if I were in an altered state of consciousness! :-)

well, I tend to put petunias in after the bulbs are done.....and let them take over for the rest of the year!! they're about the easiest thing to grow round here. Except for the year of the BAD drought. They'll bloom from last frost to first frost...and that's a loooong time!!

So, I just gotta ask....how much of that dancing teaching do you remember?? ;-)

you ARE a cool lady.
