Tea Party Coeur d' Alene, Idaho

Proud to Live in a Red State

Tea Party
Coeur d' Alene, Idaho

Crowd Estimate?
Around 1000

Arriving at the parking lot

Nice place to have a rally!!!

A bit of local flavor...and some great flags and signs

One of our locals sailed his 90' houseboat over. They threw symbolic boxes of tea overboard, lowered the Union Jack, and raised the American flag.

A John Galt fan

I love the way this sign appears to be sitting on top of the porta-potties. How apt!

Other locals flew their helicopters over us in support..

Crowd estimated at between 800 and 1000

The local news came and stayed. Good for you, guys!!

Color guard from Wallace High School, Wallace, Idaho

Stage provided by Hot Rod Cafe, Post Falls, ID
Thanks, guys!

In addition to your awesome blog:

There is now photographic evidence to put you on a "list".

Great photos! We watched the coverage on Fox news last night. I told my kids how historical this is. Never have I seen "regular" folks be so passionate about something.

Nicely done, C d' A and Adrienne: I enjoyed the humor of the signs and that these were ordinary people. We ordinary people don't really organize all that well. We may have to take some lessons from the brownshits on the left.

Oops, I meant "brownshirts." Sorry. Snort.

cool! I think i'm in one of those pics. BTW, I think the color gaurd was from Kellogg. Brian went to high school there.
Hope carried around a little sign that said 'Don't Mortgage my Freedom'

SWEET!!

The city of CDA and the Parks Dept. are trying to shut down the Parkside Bistro and Pub. It has been in business for 14yrs and the owner, Kevin Eskelin, may have to file bankruptcy do to city politics. what bad timing to push this successful and friendly establishment out of business.

I have a question about the helicopters. I see some are civilian helicopters but the thin black one looks an awful lot like FBI Surveillance.

This year in NH we have 4 of those pass over as well as 3 men with high powered telescopic lenses taking photos of all us 'leaders'.

I guess we must all have dossier by now right?
