Super Bowl Ad

****It seems everyone is in an uproar after a pro-life ad was not slated to be run during the Super Bowl. I have yet to see one person suggest that people put down their chips and guacamole and step away from the TV. That' right folks. Want to make a statement? TURN OFF YOUR TV. Face it - the Super Bowl game is usually bad anyway!

We haven't had TV for about 2 years. Since IPTV never came in worth a darn and there was never anything else on worth watching, we cancelled the cable service. Took us about 2 weeks to get over missing it.

That's actually a great idea. I think that executives will likely take notice of a decrease in ratings.

BRAVO! You say it straight!

I remember a few years ago when they tried to add an extra football game on Good Friday WE (Christians of all denominations) spoke out against it and it didnt happen!

Turn the TV Off!

Peace and blessings to you Adrienne:)

I canceled out on a "Super Bowl" Party, and I wrote to NBC.

I'll watch a good Catholic DVD or read a book instead of watching the game.

it's NBC...that's reason for boycott within itself

Not only can you turn off the TV, but it's easy enough to find the companies that had ads and refuse to buy their products.

Thought the ad was brilliant. Hard for the pro-choice people to argue against it when their own guy is such a case and point for choosing life.
