I'm wondering how Doug Kmiec is going to spin this. Thank you very much, all you Catholics who voted for Obama. This executive order has your fingerprints on it.

This is no surprise -- Obama has made no secret of his abortion fanaticism. For all those "Catholics" who supported Obama, this is the fruit of their support. The culture of death makes a major leap forward.

For all the talk of Obama's reaching out to conservatives and people of faith, his commitment to the culture of death has never wavered. He is a hard-core pro-abortion partisan, a man who once described pregnancy as punishment.

I forgot to add: pray. Pray for our country, pray for its leaders -- including Obama -- that God may in his mercy direct us away from the path we are on. Pray for the Republicans that God will rouse their consciences to be an effective political force for the culture of life. And pray that God will turn the Democrats away from their support of abortion to an ethic of protecting the lives of the unborn.

And pray for the Church, that it will have the strength to preach and live out the Gospel of Life in season and out of season.
