***FIREPROOF is the story of a firefighter, his wife ... and a marriage worth rescuing. While it opened in theaters on September 26, the FIREPROOF movement had begun long before then. FIREPROOF is the latest movie from the creators of Facing the Giants, a joint effort between Sherwood Pictures (the moviemaking ministry of a church in Georgia!), Provident Films, and Samuel Goldwyn. Last fall's filming in Albany, Georgia was followed by a spring and summer grassroots awareness campaign.
