But you are digressing into unchurchly territory. One of the earliest church fathers expressed it accurately, succintly, and completely: "Quid est imperatori cum ecclesia?"
You know perfectly well that there is far, far more to Catholic doctine, including the "Theology of the Body", than simple opposition to abortion.
After people violate or oppose most of the other doctrines of the Catholic church, I am not impressed when they drag out their abortion placards.
In addition, neither name-calling nor ridicule were Catholic virtues the last time I looked.

I don't recall ridiculing anyone. Just "reporting the news." Obama did indeed tell us to check our air pressure. Of course, I do that anyway....
