Gem - so nice of you to not go on a rant about Erica. I do know how you feel about cats. It really is a cute little bird.
Tom - we try to practice charity around here and I try to teach the "younguns" to ignore their natural impulses. Sort of like we have to do....
Esther - I really think Erica had other plans until my husband arrived on the scene. I'm not one to sit around saying, "my son/daughter wouldn't do that." Oh yes they would....
We'll let her grow a bit and see if she/he can just fly off. She appears to be in pretty good shape and is bouncing around her box. She/he just can't seem to get too far off the ground yet.
Erica looks quite dashing in her cat bib and doesn't mind wearing it so that will take care of any future problems. I'll see if I can get a picture of her in her bib. She looks pretty cool.

That picture is cuter than all get out!
It so nice to see that you not only care about your own cat, but you also MAKE that same little cat respect other animals. KUDOS!
BTW, stop by my blog when you get a chance.
Are you keeping it? What a cutie. What kind of bird is it? You have a nice cat.
