merry Christmas to you too my friend. I got your book today. It arrived while we were away and my neighbour bought it in to me. It looks like a book I am going to enjoy reading.

Thanks
Therese

Adrienne, priest once told his congregation that "God gave you your voice. If He gave you a great voice, great! If not get revenge! In either case give it back to Him!".
LOL!
Merry Christmas (a day late as usual) & a Blessed New Year to you & yours!

Merry Christmas Adrienne! My kids left yesterday but there was still so much to do - wash sheets and towels, make soup, etc. But now I am back! Looking forward to blogging and reading again!

ROTFLMAO!!!! Hope that went well.

It went very well. I managed not to sing on Joy to the World when I wasn't supposed to - due to my "alto mate" actually putting her hand over the music and the choir director sticking his finger in my face when I was supposed to sing. A flub there would have been very, very noticeable.

Things went well until some of the folks started to applaud after Father did his Christmas thank you's.

Had coffee with Father today and he said he would "speak to the people" about not applauding at Mass.

I hate applauding at mass. It is one of my pet peeves.
