Can You Get Excited?

Bishop Zubik's 1st Homily as Pittsburgh's Bishop

September 28, 2007

We all need to hear what Bishop Zubik has to say. Go here and listen to a wonderful speaker with a wonderful message for all of us. The heart of the message starts at about 7:15. Feel free to jump forward.

This is a great video! I loved the connection to the apostles in that like them, we also need to recognize Jesus and get excited about what we see and recognize, lest we be lukewarm and spit out.

Also, the story toward the end about Satan's plan - a plan that seems to be working well in this world, is dead on. We're complacent, and become more so every day regarding what we have. We should be mindful of God's plan, not Satan's, and be mindful now, not tomorrow.

If is possible add the CresceNet(www.provedorcrescenet.com) in your blogroll, I thank. Good bye friend.

Good stuff.

He delivered a wonderful homily. His challenge does address that palpable level of apathy that characterizes the spiritual lives of so many.

New bishops are always exciting. You always wonder what new direction they will lead their flock, for good or unfortunately ill sometimes.
On another note, its great to see another blogger from Idaho, especially one from the North. I look forward to reading more of your posts.
