It shows you how much we dont think of people like them. we may have more money, but they have more heart. the guy is right, what our we doing for the people like them, in reality they are the same as us just with misfortune. yes this changed my mind.

Adrienne - I use the endearment "kidlet" too! I have never heard anyone but a neighbourhood mom (and you) use the term. Cool!

I got kidlet from my Mom as well as "chickie", short for chicken liver (Huh?) and, my favorite, "useless piece of protoplasm". My Mother was very, very creative.
