Kathy Shaidle, who blogged at Five Feet of Fury, was a contributor at PJ Media, and has worked extensively with Mark Steyn, has ovarian cancer. Kathy was one of the first bloggers I followed many, many years ago. I could always count on feeling superior since at 5'2" I towered over her mere 5 feet.
She is at home with her husband, proprietor of Blazing Cat Fur:
It is difficult for me to write that Kathy is suffering ovarian cancer and is now in palliative care. Kath is still fighting hard and we hope to hold on to her at home for as long as we can. She is doing well and has homecare nurses and a doctor attending
