Perhaps a better prayer would be for God to turn his heart and raise him up to be a godly leader for our country. "First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life, godly and respectful in every way." St. Paul, 1 Timothy 2.1-4 (RSV).
