"Conservative" site REDSTATE is encouraging protesters to take guns to Trump rallies...

have they gone completely bat guano nuts?

In my opinion, people who go to a rally in order to protest, are not wrapped real tight to begin with, and now RedState is suggesting they take guns? (screenshot below)

I quit reading RedState quite awhile ago, but happened upon this story at Gateway Pundit.  I headed over to RedState to check this out.  Surely this couldn't be true.  It is, and I'm appalled!

We can only hope that the lunatic fringe who think screaming and shouting at an opponent's rally is normal behavior, don't read RedState.

Posted by Neil Stevens at RedState who says:
My advice for reporters and protestors (sic) visiting Donald Trump events is simple: You have a right to keep and bear arms. Use it. If Trump’s brownshirts know their targets are armed, they’ll get less handsy, fast.

He also says: (emphasis mine)

For those who want to carry a concealed weapon for personal protection, NRA offers classes on handgun safety, and NRA-ILA has detailed information on state gun laws, including which states have permit reciprocity agreements with other states.
Traveling to another state for an event? Here are TSA’s rules on transporting firearms.
And lastly, when attacked by a Trump goon, if you’re hesitating to defend yourself with your firearm, ask yourself whether it’s better to be tried by twelve, or carried by six.
The combox at RedState is full of people trying to tell this guy what a bad idea it is and he argues vehemently that he's right.  He sounds totally unhinged.  I think it would be in the best interest of RedState that they get him some professional help.  Stat!
