I could well be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if these folks learned their protest methods from their parents and teachers who were campus protestors 40-45 years ago.
Death threats, attempts at mob rule, anarchy -- welcome to the modern Left's tactics designed to frustrate democratic government and the rule of law. Why am I not surprised.

Old Bob: At least one writer maintains that the glorious days of the Anti-Vietnam protests were "celebrated" by a bunch of guys who did not want to be drafted, and/but did want to go to war, so decided "war" against the cops was cheaper and less dangerous. I do think you're correct, though: the MSM has glorified those wonder-filled days of protest. These folks in Madison want their share of MSM "glory".
