Gibbs: Furor over Obama's speech 'silly season'

"I think we've reached a little bit of the silly season when the president of the United States can't tell kids in school to study hard and stay in school," presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters.

The fact that they can not see what the problem is proves beyond doubt how out of touch these inarticulate elitist Washington scumbags (who I might add are paid with our tax dollars) really are.

Yeah, Stacy - I know that's a lousy sentence but my readers "get it" (I hope!)

Meantime:

Senate negotiator promises health care bill 'soon'

WASHINGTON – The Senate's top health care negotiator (Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont) signaled Friday that he'll move forward with legislation soon, whether or not months of bipartisan talks produce a breakthrough on President Barack Obama's top domestic priority.

Here's the full picture: A group of no-account politicians who care not one whit what the majority of the people of this country want, are sitting in what was formally a smoke filled back room, deciding how you are going to live your life, what you will eat, drive, and whether you will live or die.

The only correct answer is:

NO government controlled health care. Period! NONE!

Good grief. Can't they leave us alone to enjoy the weekend?

I don't know if they plan on having this Obama speech thing in my kids high school but if they do.. we are pulling our kids from that class. Thankfully my two youngest don't have to worry as they go to our parish school and I've been assured it won't be shown.
