New World Order?

My Google Reader is approaching the 1000 mark even though I clear it several times per day. That's an awful lot of information flowing into one brain.

There comes a time when we must step back and do some "dot connecting", which is what I am busy doing whilst mindlessly sorting screws and nails in my hardware box. Sorting flotsam and jetsam is a great activity for focusing and one gets to reap the benefits of a little additional organization. Several kitchen drawers have already been cleaned and spiffed up and I'm headed for my office "in box." That will be followed by the stack of carp on top of the file cabinet that needs to filed. If I'm not through with the thinking process, the craft stuff is in great danger of becoming my next move.

All of this is not to tell you about my day. It's my way of saying that the dots I'm connecting and the information I am researching is important. Some of the information is re-visited info and other is brand spanking new, at least to me, and needs some healthy study time.

I think that we are being bombarded with "hope and change" to the point where the objectives of the Cloward-Piven Strategy and Alinsky's Rules for Radicals are being carried out while we are focused on the buttons adorning the shirt without seeing the shirt (I really didn't want to use the forest and trees thingy so forgive me this comparison)

Events are becoming ugly, as I predicted months ago would happen, and I believe they will become uglier. Much uglier! I believe the majority of the people of this country are outraged. And I also believe that we have a puppet in the White House who will stop at nothing to obtain his ends.

Listening to Obama in his very best "shuck and jive" mode in this brief video is chilling. I find his pretend "home boy" imitation to be repulsive and an insult to all good black people. As always this man tells us exactly what he is doing and how he is going to accomplish his goals.

Now I must head back to sort my in-box and continue my "thinking." Oh yes, first I'm going to mark what is now 1000 plus items on my Google Reader as "read." In the meantime, visit the folks on my sidebar who are all doing a great job.

Thanks for your post here. It is amazing how things are going. What is interesting to me is that nobody is really tying the culture of death issues (abortion, euthanasia) into what is happening. Levin didn't in his book. Most commentators aren't, either. You are doing a great job pointing that stuff out, though. Thanks for doing so!

Cheers!

I second what Mark said...kudos to you, Adrienne.

Let me interject a note of caution, which came to my mind when you suggested that we visit your links: you have a link called "Atlas Shrugs". Now, I've visited the site and found it very informative, but I haven't visited enough to ascertain whether or not the blogger is an Objectivist -- that is, one of the followers of Ayn Rand, who wrote "Atlas Shrugged". Here's the word of caution: though Ayn Rand's depiction of the evils of the welfare state(in which productive people are penalized in order to provide for those too feckless and mediocre to take care of themselves) is right on and is appealing, you should all know that Ayn Rand was an aggressive atheist. She viewed Christianity with particular disgust, as she saw it as promoting altruism, whereas she preached the "virtue of selfishness" (one of the titles of her books). When she was a young teen, she wrote in her diary that she wanted to be known as the worst enemy of religion". If you go to Objectivist sites, you will see the hostility to all things religious (including traditional morality), and abortion in particular is supported (man, the discussions I have had with these people....). There is no recognition of a "common good", and the individual, NOT the family, is seen as the essential unit of society. All of this is to say, BE CAREFUL OF AYN RAND DEVOTEES! THEY ARE NOT ALLIES!

You mention B.O. being a "puppet", I'll willingly buy into that idea. Sometimes it seems his rise to power has been just too easy without someone's help.

But a puppet implies someone pulling the strings & working the levers. Who would be your best guess on that one?

Austringer - I am very aware of that part of Ayn Rand. I read Virtue of Selfishness eons ago and found it to be very disturbing.

However, I think folks have latched unto the parts of Ayn Rand that seem to make sense to them in today's world. They are able to do that because as a nation and a people, we have loss our sense of the Divine. The average person wants to keep faith and state separate, which is impossible unless, of course, you are insane.

Sub - that's all part of the thinking I'm doing right now. Will I ever have a definitive answer? Probably not. But I'm getting a pretty good idea of what's happening. Stay tuned - this thinking thing is very hard work! heh...

Mark - you are just too sweet. Have I told you that lately, or have I just been giving you a hard time? I only do so because I love you...(like a brother, doncha know!)

Adrienne,

I've read a great deal of Ayn Rand (she especially appealed to me in my atheist days), and I agree -- people latch onto the parts of her philosophy that seem to strike them as common-sensical, especially when they become alarmed at the direction the country is heading. The danger is, of course, that they absorb the really foul aspects of her philosophy along with her observations of the welfare state. That concerns me a great deal. It also reminds me of a G.K. Chesterton quote: "The reformer is always right about what is wrong. He is generally wrong about what is right." That pretty much sums up Ayn Rand... Unfortunately, as you point out, our culture has been secualrized and religious ideas and principles are seen as out of place in the political arena, thus making the absorption of Rand's nuttier and nastier ideas more likely.

The danger with Ayn Rand - and so many other philosopies, movements, or people who may have some good things about them - is that you may just enter to have contact with the good, but you can easily be tainted by the bad. I could say I read Playboy for the articles, but those pictures may just pass before my eyes and enter my mind.

Now a mature, educated, well-grounded individual may be able to come in contact with such things, but for people like me the temptations and dangers inherent in them are too great to risk.

It's so complicated my brain hurts, but somehow I think it is one more part of the puzzle.

"I believe the majority of the people of this country are outraged."

I sure hope so! I'm definitely outraged - and I think the culture of death thing is very clear - to those willing to look. The next big strategy is to make everyone opposing the administration to look like wing nuts.

Hi! Here I am going to explain what is the current NWO about and where is it goes and the most important: how to change it and change it for what. The last thing is a conception which I’ll be explaining step by step from the other language. The really big opposition to NWO (and opposition to Old World Order as well) had begun in the other non-English speaking country. One day you will understand why. My long-term investigation of life conception in different lanuages revealed that information here (http://conception-don.blogspot.com/) (opened in 2009 August, 20 ) is 1 of the most useful for understanding of knowledge we all need. Do not be too much pretentious because it is just started in English. Month by month more and more information will be showed there.
I hope for your understanding and cooperation. We have the same goals anyway.
