The travails of travel...

for Friday.

A woman was at her hairdresser's getting her hair  styled for a trip to Rome with  her husband..  She mentioned the trip to the hairdresser, who  responded:

" Rome ?  Why would anyone want to go there? It's crowded  and dirty.. You're crazy to go  to Rome .  So, how are you getting  there?"

"We're taking Continental," was the reply. "We got a great rate!"

"Continental?"  exclaimed the hairdresser. " That's a terrible  airline. Their planes are old, their flight  attendants are ugly, and they're always late.  So, where are you staying  in Rome ?"

"We'll be at this exclusive little place over on Rome's Tiber River called Teste."

"Don't  go any further. I know that place.   Everybody thinks its gonna be something  special and exclusive, but it's really a  dump."

"We're going to go to see the Vatican and maybe get to see the Pope."

"That's  rich," laughed the hairdresser. You and a  million other people trying to see him.   He'll look the size of an  ant.  Boy,  good luck on this lousy trip of yours. You're  going to need it."

A month later, the woman again came in for a  hairdo. The hairdresser asked her about her trip  to Rome.

"It  was wonderful," explained the woman, "not only were we on time in one of Continental's brand new planes, but it was overbooked, and they bumped us up to first class. The food and wine were wonderful, and I had a handsome 28-year-old steward who waited on me hand and foot.

And the hotel was great! They'd just finished a $5  million remodeling job, and now it's a jewel,  the finest hotel in the city. They, too, were  overbooked, so they apologized and gave us their  owner's suite at no extra charge!"

"Well,"  muttered the hairdresser, "that's all well and  good, but I know you didn't get to see the  Pope."

"Actually, we were quite lucky, because as we toured the Vatican, a Swiss Guard tapped me on the shoulder, and explained that the Pope likes to  meet some of the visitors, and if I'd be so kind  as to step into his private room and wait, the  Pope would personally greet  me.

Sure enough, five minutes later, the Pope walked  through the door and shook my hand! I knelt down and he spoke a few words to me."

"Oh,  really!  What'd he say ?"

He said: "Who fu*ked up your hair?"

Michael Moore hates Capitalism. Thinks it's Un-Christian and Un-American...

how stupid does he think we are?

From the interview by Piers Morgan:
Morgan asked Moore about his opposition to capitalism, especially given Moore's  financial success as a filmmaker. When asked if his movie-making amounted to a capitalist endeavor, Moore replied "Is it really?" He then noted that "the only reason I do well is because people want to see my movies," before indicting the modern financial system as a corruption of capitalism, a "shell game."
As Moore concluded his remarks on capitalism, he said that "it's not American." Additionally, he said "it's not Christian or Jewish," after citing 46 million poor people that Moore believes the capitalist economic system neglects. "None of the major religions, in fact they all," Moore said, "say it's one of the worst sins you could commit, is to take such a large piece of the pie while others suffer."
 Really?  Really??

If Michael Moore hates Capitalism so badly, then why is he selling his book?  Shouldn't he be so worried about the poor and downtrodden that he would give his book away for free?  And how come the little people who are struggling have to pay to see his movies?  Shouldn't they be free, too?  To be fair, he could offer these things for a free-will offering - that would be a rather Christian approach.

Obviously, he doesn't believe that about Capitalism.  But he does believe you are so stupid as to listen to him spout nonsense and believe it.  And so do the majority of loony lefty crazies in Hollywood.  Matt Damon, Susan Sarandon, Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand, and all of their ilk essentially call you stupid and yet we continue to watch their movies, buy their music, and pay for cable TV.   Are you insulted yet?

What a disgusting human being...

Tabloid Titles. This is ridiculous...

and a real turnoff.

It is a rare occurrence around here for me to criticize a blogger, let alone waste my time on some "flame war" in a combox.   My attitude has always been that bloggers are entitled to their own opinions, and if their opinions continue to be opposite my opinions - I don't go there anymore.  Now my actions might be different if someone publicly smeared me, but I'm such an unimportant little cog in the blogoshpere, the possibilities of that happening are not very high.

This morning, however, Gateway Pundit published a clip of Obama at yet another fundraiser being heckled by someone screeching that "Jesus is God", and (I think) accusing Obama of being the anti-Christ.  Mr. Hoft's headline was "Nice, The Left Boos Jesus at Obama Fundraiser." (video included in post)

Really?  You don't think they may have just been shouting down a very rude person who was making an ass of himself?  How about this?  Perhaps the guy was a lefty plant.  In any event, shouting about Jesus like some sort of lunatic is not the best way to get your message across.

For Mr. Hoft to post a misleading headline is not the best way to get the conservative message out and just gives fodder for the loony left to feed on.   Mr. Hoft says, "You know how the left made such a big fuss over the fact that a couple of Republicans booed a gay soldier at the last Republican primary debate?", which we knew was not the truth - so maybe, just maybe he was indulging in a sarcastic comparison.  If so, it failed.

I believe that when a conservative blogger moves into the upper stratospheres of traffic, they have a responsibility to not sensationalize, like some tabloid at the check-out counter in a grocery store,  in order to increase their hit counters. This is what the left is famous for.  Bloggers who do this lose their credibility and eventually their traffic.  On the other hand, I'm just one of those little cogs, so what I think means nothing.

What do you think?

will be the
welcome symbol to

in Rio de Janeiro .

It will be seen by the game visitors and participants as
they arrive by air or water.

The tower, captures solar energy. It will supply energy
for all of the Olympic city, as well as also for part of Rio ..

It pumps up water from the ocean to create what
appears like a water fall and this fall stimulates turbines
that produce energy during the night.

It will also hold the Olympic flame.

The Tower possesses an amphitheater, an auditorium, a cafeteria and boutiques. Elevators lead to various observatories.  At the summit is an observation point to appreciate the scenery of the land and ocean, as well as the water fall.

"I don't like Obama's policies, but I like him as a person"...

makes not one bit of sense.

Ever so often I run up against that statement, usually by someone who doesn't want to appear "judgmental."  What it really means is that a person and his actions are two separate entities.  It means our current president can insult the majority of the people in this country by calling them terrorists and bitter-clingers, advocate for the death of infants born alive after a botched abortion, and spend our federal tax dollars to fund abortions in other countries.  He can consider the continued funding of Planned Parenthood, again with our tax dollars, to be a top tier requirement for the good of the nation.

How can he refuse, at whim, to carry out the laws of this country such as DOMA and spend millions of our tax dollars to fly around the country campaigning for his re-election, hand out our money to a company like Solyndra that was doomed to failure from the beginning, embarrass us on the international stage, and still be a likable fellow?

How exactly is that possible?

Is he fun to chat with at a cocktail party?  Does he have a sharp crease in his pants?  Do you think he's "cute" or a good speaker?  I have a newsflash for all you squishy folks who think a person's actions are a separate matter from who they are.  A person's actions tell us exactly who they are and the Obamas are clearly not worthy of being liked.

Archbishop Timothy Dolan's letter to the president...

good for him!

From:

Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan
Archbishop of New York

September 20, 2011
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Washington, D.C. 20500

Dear Mr. President:

I write with a growing sense of urgency about recent actions taken by your Administration that both escalate the threat to marriage and imperil the religious freedom of those who promote and defend marriage. This past spring the Justice Department announced that it would no longer defend the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) in court, a decision strongly opposed by the Catholic Bishops of the United States and many others. Now the Justice Department has shifted from not defending DOMA—which is problem enough, given the duty of the executive branch to enforce even laws it disfavors—to actively attacking DOMA‟s constitutionality. My predecessor, Cardinal Francis George, OMI, and I have expressed to you in the past our strong disappointment about the direction your Administration has been moving regarding DOMA. Unfortunately the only response to date has been the intensification of efforts to undermine DOMA and the institution of marriage.

The Justice Department‟s move, in addition to other troubling federal decisions occurring recently, prompts me yet again to register my grave concerns. The content of this letter reflects the strong sentiment expressed at a recent meeting by more than thirty of my brother Bishops who serve on the Administrative Committee of our episcopal conference. I know they are joined by hundreds of additional Catholic bishops throughout our nation. My observations are offered in the spirit of respectful, but frank dialogue.
The Catholic Bishops stand ready to affirm every positive measure taken by you and your Administration to strengthen marriage and the family. We cannot be silent, however, when federal steps harmful to marriage, the laws defending it, and religious freedom continue apace. Attached you will find an analysis prepared by my staff detailing the various executive activities of late that warrant our increasing apprehension.

Mr. President, your Administration‟s actions against DOMA and the values it stands for contrast sharply with your excellent Mother‟s Day and Father‟s Day proclamations issued earlier this year, which are also referenced in the attached analysis. In these perceptive and heartening statements, you correctly emphasize the critical role played by both a mom and a dad in a child‟s life, and you rightly call upon society to do all it can to uphold both mothers and fathers.

I know that you treasure the importance that you and the First Lady, separately and as a couple, share in the lives of your children. The Mother‟s Day and Father‟s Day proclamations display a welcome conviction on your part that neither a mom nor a dad is expendable. I believe therefore that you would agree that every child has the right to be loved by both a mother and a father.

The institution of marriage is built on this truth, which goes to the core of what the Catholic Bishops of the United States, and the millions of citizens who stand with us on this issue, want for all children and for the common good of society. That is why it is particularly upsetting, Mr. President, when your Administration, through the various court documents, pronouncements and policies identified in the attached analysis, attributes to those who support DOMA a motivation rooted in prejudice and bias. It is especially wrong and unfair to equate opposition to redefining marriage with either intentional or willfully ignorant racial discrimination, as your Administration insists on doing.

We as Bishops of the Catholic Church recognize the immeasurable personal dignity and equal worth of all individuals, including those with same-sex attraction, and we reject all hatred and unjust treatment against any person. Our profound regard for marriage as the complementary and fruitful union of a man and a woman does not negate our concern for the well-being of all people but reinforces it. While all persons merit our full respect, no other relationships provide for the common good what marriage between husband and wife provides. The law should reflect this reality.

Mr. President, I respectfully urge you to push the reset button on your Administration‟s approach to DOMA. Our federal government should not be presuming ill intent or moral blindness on the part of the overwhelming majority of its citizens, millions of whom have gone to the polls to directly support DOMAs in their states and have thereby endorsed marriage as the union of man and woman. Nor should a policy disagreement over the meaning of marriage be treated by federal officials as a federal offense—but this will happen if the Justice Department‟s latest constitutional theory prevails in court. The Administration‟s failure to change course on this matter will, as the attached analysis indicates, precipitate a national conflict between Church and State of enormous proportions and to the detriment of both institutions.

Thus, on behalf of my brother Bishops, I urge yet again that your Administration end its campaign against DOMA, the institution of marriage it protects, and religious freedom. Please know that I am always ready to discuss with you the concerns raised here and to address any questions that you may have. I am convinced that the door to a dialogue that is strong enough to endure even serious and fundamental disagreements can and must remain open, and I believe that you desire the same. Also please know that you, your family, and your Administration continue to be in my prayers.

Faithfully in Christ,

Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan
Archbishop of New York
President, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops

Guy Clark - LA Freeway...

just because.

Response from Mike Crapo, (R-ID) concerning the "Super Committee"

To save time I've reprinted (from a previous post) my email sent to Mr. Crapo on Wednesday, August 3, 2001 voicing my concerns about the so-called "Super Committee."

I received a reply today which I have reprinted following my original email.

My email to Mike Crapo (R-ID)
Dear Senator Crapo,

I took time out from my busy schedule to attend a "meet and greet" with in Coeur d'Alene before the last election.  Based on what I heard my vote was cast for you.

During the Kubuki theater that occurred in Washington concerning the debt ceiling, I did my best to ignore the fact that you embarrassed the state of Idaho by being one of the "gang of six."

It is impossible to ignore, however, the agreement reached with the Democrats on the debt ceiling which includes a committee being formed to make recommendations on spending cuts - the so-called "Super Congress."

If I understand this correctly, this committee of six Republicans and six Democrats will decide where and how much will be cut from the budget.  This will be presented to the House, who will have only the power of an up and down vote with no ability to offer amendments. If they vote no, automatic "triggers" will be released, none of which are too palatable. Am I correct, so far?

If you are not one of the Republicans on this committee, then you are not really representing me. I have been effectively disenfranchised.   I voted for you to represent me, not some committee that would make the likes of a Vladimir Lenin proud.

Please explain to me how this committee can even be considered constitutionally legal.  Are we not all to be represented by whom we elected or is this just reserved for special interests and "elites."

You appeared to be a level-headed and concerned person who held the best interests of this country as your number one goal. That's why I voted for you.  Let me repeat - I voted for you, not some committee of inside the beltway types.

Now if I've completely gotten this wrong, please feel free to enlighten me.

I am posting this on my blog, Adrienne's Corner, and will be happy to print your response.

Sincerely,

From Senator Crapo:

September 20, 2011
Dear Adrienne:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the important budgetary issues facing our nation.  I appreciate the time you took to reach out to me and I apologize for the delay in responding.  As you may know, my offices (as well as most other congressional offices) have experienced an extremely large volume of calls, emails and letters from constituents in the last few months, making it difficult to respond in a more timely and specific manner.  I hope this update on my activities in Congress in recent months relating to the budget will help address questions you might have.

On February 14, 2011, President Barack Obama submitted his FY 2012 budget request to Congress, a budget that did not change the status quo-- it recommended a continuation down the same unsustainable path toward spending, taxing and borrowing, to the extent of tripling our national debt over ten years. This is not the solution that the American people and economic reality have demanded of our elected leaders.  Our country now borrows over 40 cents of every dollar it spends, so enacting such a growing budget at a time when spending needs to be reeled in is a gross misdirection.  However, the Senate will take his budget proposal under consideration during the construction of its own budget resolution.  After extended debate on the proposed budget that the Budget Committee agrees upon, the full Senate will consider a budget resolution.  As a member of the Senate Budget Committee, I will be taking an active part in crafting a responsible budget and will be able to ensure that Idaho’s priorities are included in the final version of the budget.

Throughout my tenure in Congress, I have reviewed and voted on many 10-year budget plans, but without adequate enforcement provisions, Congress inevitably finds loopholes to avoid spending controls that are put into effect in out-years of such budgets.   It is time to stop borrowing money from future generations, as these actions do not lead to long-term growth and economic stabilization.  The solution to our problems will require dramatic action and shared sacrifice.  The sheer scope of our fiscal situation means every part of our government ledger sheet must be scrutinized.

The deficit crisis has grown as our country continued a rapid approach toward the debt ceiling.  As you may know, Congress imposed a statutory limit on federal debt in 1917, through passage of the Second Liberty Bond Act, which enacted limits on certificates of indebtedness and on bonds that the federal government could issue.  Since 2001, Congress has voted to raise the debt limit ten times.  As of April 1, 2011, the total federal debt was $14.251 billion and rising.  On May 16, 2011, U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner announced that the federal debt had reached its statutory limit and declared a debt issuance suspension period, which would allow certain extraordinary measures to extend Treasury's borrowing capacity until about August 2, 2011.  On July 1, 2011, the U.S. Treasury confirmed its view that its borrowing authority would be exhausted on that day.

Earlier projections had indicated that we were headed in that direction, so in March 2010 (more than 18 months ago), I was selected by Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) to be one of six U.S. Senators to serve on the National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform.  The Commission was created by President Obama to identify policies to improve the federal government’s fiscal situation, and I worked diligently with commission members over many months to listen to, and question, experts on all levels about our country’s fiscal condition.  Ultimately, the plan fell short of the 14 votes needed of the 18 members on the panel to force Congress to vote on the proposal.  However, the final report was endorsed by a bipartisan supermajority of the Commission members, including Senators Tom Coburn (R-Oklahoma), Dick Durbin (D-Illinois), Kent Conrad (D-North Dakota) and me.

While I was disappointed that the report of this fiscal commission, though imperfect, did not move forward, the plan did provide a legitimate framework by which Senators Coburn, Durbin, Conrad and I, along with Senators Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia) and Mark Warner (D-Virginia), could move forward in a bipartisan and aggressive manner to carry on the work of the Commission.  Using this framework, the six of us formed a bi-partisan working group, commonly dubbed the “Gang of Six.”  Over the several months that followed, we worked together to find solutions to this debt crisis facing our nation, and to address these much-needed changes.  On July 19, 2011, we presented to our colleagues an update on our comprehensive plan to tackle the rising debt and deficit and fundamentally reform a burdensome, anticompetitive tax code.  This plan takes on the challenge of transforming the Commission recommendations into a real and bipartisan plan to attack our deficits with $3.7 trillion in savings over ten years, stabilize our growing debt, and impose unprecedented budget discipline on the federal government.

The proposal that we put forward would cut, not raise, taxes.  There has been some confusion on this question because of different “baselines” that the plan may be measured against.  There is no question that the kind of tax cuts included in the proposal are historic and would lower every taxpayer’s rate, and this kind of simplification of the tax code would generate significant growth in the economy.  As a result of this economic growth, additional revenues would be generated, which, according to the plan, could only be used for further tax rate or deficit reduction, and not for additional spending.

All in all, this plan has strong bipartisan support and approaches spending and fiscal policy, and more, in a way that is not typical for Congress, but this is not a typical time.  All the usual solutions have been exhausted and have proven to be inadequate to meet our nation’s problems.  Nonetheless, Congress continued to explore other options, and, after several failed attempts by both House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada), on July 25, 2011, legislation titled the Budget Control Act of 2011 was introduced in different forms by both House Speaker Boehner and Majority Leader Reid.  Subsequently, on August 2, 2011, President Obama signed into law a compromise measure, following House approval by a vote of 269-161 on August 1, 2011, and Senate approval by a vote of 74-26 on August 2, 2011.  Included in this measure were numerous provisions aimed at deficit reduction and an increase in the debt limit of up to $2.4 trillion that would occur in several stages.  These provisions would eliminate the need for further increases in the debt limit until late 2012 or early 2013.

As a nation, we have faced many unprecedented crises that could have been avoided with the earlier enactment of sound fiscal policies.  We, in Congress, have stumbled one too many times over last-minute fixes to problems that should never have reached a critical need for action.  In recent months, we have faced a debt ceiling crisis and a potential government shutdown, yet Senate leadership continues to refuse to pass a budget.  When added to sluggish economic growth, government regulatory policies that are choking small business and continued high unemployment rates throughout the country, it is no wonder that Americans are up in arms over federal spending and debt.

There is much that needs to be done, but there is reason for hope.  The direction of debate in Congress over spending issues has shifted dramatically from how much it can spend to a concentrated discussion about cutting spending.  Just a couple years ago, Congress was focused on things like stimulus spending and bailouts, all of which I opposed.  The wrongheaded notion that we can spend ourselves into prosperity has rightly been thrown out the window.  Instead, the debates are focused on how much spending to cut, and how we can best enforce spending restraint on future Congresses.  This is a positive development for our country, but there is still so much more that needs to be addressed.

As a member of the Senate Finance, Budget, and Banking Committees, I have been pushing aggressively for enhanced oversight of these unprecedented government interventions to make sure the taxpayer is being protected.  I share your commitment to a cost-effective federal budget and the need to eliminate wasteful spending.  Reducing federal spending has been a top priority for me throughout my public service.   I am committed to restoring the federal budget to balance, and this effort requires careful scrutiny of all programs funded by the American taxpayer.   We owe it to our children, grandchildren and future generations to do nothing less.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me in the future on this or other matters of interest to you. Marxism and the Churches...

A recent article posted at the Blaze,  Have Alinsky Political Operatives Infiltrated Cleveland’s Christian, Jewish & Muslim Faith Communities? was posted a day before the newest Vortex with Michael Voris was put online. (posted below)  Michael examines an article published in the Gonzaga University newspaper which is rife with misrepresentations of the Catholic faith. Most disturbing are some of the statements made by Fr. Craig Hightower, S.J., director of University Ministry at Gonzaga, concerning what the church teaches about homosexuality.
"First and foremost, [the Church] doesn't say anything in particular about homosexuality, per se. It does say that we are created in God's image, male and female created in God's image," Hightower said.
I'm hoping Fr. Hightower was misquoted or that this quote was incomplete because otherwise I would have to accuse him of lying - something that makes me most uncomfortable. He might try picking up a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church for starters.

The article mainly focuses on Tyler Hobbs, Gonzaga Student Body President for the 2011-2012 school year, who is also gay.  I'm not sure what being gay has got to do with being student body president, or anything for that matter.

Hightower acknowledged that certain perceptions of homosexuality in the Catholic Church do exist.
"Homosexuality is not condemned in any way, shape or form," Hightower said.
"What I'm interested in is the theology of the body and the theology of justice," Hightower said. "How do we help the person be more fully human as they are created in that divine image."
What sort of goobly gook statement is that?  Homosexuals are called to chastity - end of story. Fully human? I have no idea of what that means.  Are we to presume that somehow Tyler is "less than human?"

This all caught my attention because I am no stranger to Gonzaga; it's close to my home, I've taken classes there, and occasionally attend the Sunday evening Mass at their beautiful church.

Since most of my readers are not Catholic, I ask only that you consider this information in view of whatever church you do attend.  There has never been a doubt in my mind that certain areas of the Catholic Church, as well as most other mainstream churches, have been infiltrated with ideals espoused by Alynsky.  I would go so far as to call such trends outright Marxist.

This opinion doesn't make me very popular with most of the "Catholic" sites or with most Catholics, who rarely ever read my blog anymore.  The above opinion ensures that not only will the loony left brand you a "crazy", but also your fellow Catholics. Such is life.

I'm focusing on the Catholic Church here because I'm Catholic.  I don't speak for Protestants or Jews because it's not my place to do so.  You'll all have to speak for yourselves.  I do believe, however, as stated above, that this is something that has invaded all our churches.

No one seems to mind talking about the fact that Marxism that has invaded our educational system, all nicely cloaked in political correctness, tolerance, and diversity.  Yet these same people will quake with indignation at the suggestion that possibly some priests and bishops display characteristics that are clearly Marxist.  But, but they say, "The Church is protected.  The gates of hell shall not prevail."  That's true.  That doesn't change the fact that we could have some people in the Church that are espousing ideals that are well - not so ideal.

All of us hold our faith dear to our hearts.  It defines who we are.  Attack a bishop or a priest and you attack the Church.  Attack the Church and you attack them.  Their answer is to resort to ad hominem attacks, ban you from their sites, and dismiss you as a malcontent.  What better way to infiltrate the minds of people than through the institutions where they should feel the safest.

Mr. Voris has been the recipient of the most vile of attacks for speaking the truth, the worst of the lot coming from what I like to call "high-end" Catholic bloggers.

Take a moment and watch this video while thinking about the church you attend.  Is it "gay-friendly" (whatever the heck that means),  have lots of greenie-weenie programs, and preach about diversity and tolerance?  Then do some Google searches on your church and Marxism.  You may be surprised.

Many thanks to all who have already voted, but in Catholic-land you can (and should) vote every single day.  Make me the winner I think I am.

I love the message from The Crescat, hostess of the Cannonball Catholic Blog Awards:

Nominees and winners of the 2011 Catholic Cannonball Awards™© receive no prizes, just the sweet sweet satisfaction that they were only slightly better than no one else really all that special. They reserve bragging rights and the distinction of being fantastical ordinary! Yay! You're an awesome average blogger. Enjoy your victory.

David Brooks calls himself a sap...

and gets linked by everyone in the entire blogosphere (including me.)

I resisted - really I did.

It amazes me that not only do people like Mr. Brooks actually get paid for what they write, but more importantly, people actually read his opinion pieces.  Now he calls himself a "sap", not because he has suddenly realized our current president has not been going down the right path, but because he hasn't been going far enough down the left path.

That makes Mr. Brooks a very stupid ill-informed man and confirms his status as one of the "not very bright" - except for, no doubt, getting a gazillion hits for his silly article.

Hells half-acre of people have something to say over at Memorandum (if you really care.)

If you don't care, may I suggest a fine piece I found linked over at Doug Ross by Victor Davis Hanson?

Dancing with the Stars...

has lost this viewer.

Even though in past seasons I've had to hold my nose over some of the scanty costumes, as a former ballroom instructor (with a few national trophies of my own), and knowing Mark Ballas and his father from our Houston days, I enjoyed the show.

But this season will have to proceed without me and I'm sure they're not too upset.  Millions more folks will be tuning in to watch Chaz Bono do her/his thing, whatever that might be.  The "ick factor" is just too high for this viewer.

How about we watch some real dancing?
